An opportunity has arisen for a **Production Operator **to join our expanding Tape & Reel Production Department. It is preferred that applicants have previous experience working in a fast paced production environment, and in addition full training and support will be given. This position involves the manual handling of customer product, requiring good dexterity and an eye for fine detail ensuring all paperwork and product is 100% accurate.
- working to the daily production plan to meet customer timescales, ensuring the intricate customer specifications are followed accurately.
- the taping & reeling of customers products from tubes, trays, wafers or by hand.
- the operation of manual and automatic tape & reel machines and all other bespoke machinery involved in the processing of our customer product.
- use of computer system to record and process product, complete all relevant paperwork and log books in line with the company procedure.
- this role involves working in an ESD protected environment therefore antistatic overalls, footwear and wristraps are provided.

**What your key skills and experiences are**:

- experience in a production environment is essential.
- basic PC skills are essential, ability to prioritise work load and work to deadlines.
- attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

**Additional Details**:

- Dayshift hours - 40 hours per week - and flexibility maybe shown within the dayshift
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm.
- A comprehensive training plan will be included as part of this position
- Pension provided by AEGON above the government standard minimum
- £10.42 per hour.
