**The role**:
The Staff Counselling Service is a key support for University of Bristol staff. The role of the Senior Administrative Assistant is to support the Staff Counselling Service in delivering its purpose of promoting and supporting staff well-being through individual appointments, group work, workshops, training, information and campaigns.

The role holder will need to follow office processes and procedures and be able to make decisions within clear parameters as and when required.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Act as first point of contact for staff queries, responding with courtesy and respect.
- Provide front of house duties, including dealing with enquiries and escalating queries/matters to the appropriate person if outside knowledge base.
- Producing documents and/or letters in line with set procedures.
- Gather and collate statistical information as requested, presenting this in an appropriate format using suitable software.
- Allocating clients to counsellors in keeping with criteria set down by the head of Service.
- Processing invoices
- Liaising with campus services
