**Application Support Engineer *Hybrid WFH* to £55k**

Are you a tech savvy Application Support Engineer with excellent communication skills? You could be progressing your career, providing technical support to clients on a complex software product that aids in the discovery of solutions for the Life Sciencesand pharmaceuticals industry.

**Your role**:
As an Application Support Analyst you be responsible for investigating customer issues within agreed SLAs via remote access (e.g. VPN, WebEx etc.) to customer systems, gathering sufficient information to pass on to other engineers. You'll perform data fixesor configuration changes to resolve issues or work around problems and keep detailed records of change requests. Your role will also include onsite customer installations, upgrades and demos in a pre-sales capacity.

**WFH Policy**:
Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the office 2 days a week with the other 3 working from home.

**Requirements**:

- You have commercial Application Support experience
- You have good SQL and Oracle (PL/SQL) skills and strong scripting skills
- You have excellent communication skills and are able to build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
- You have achieved a Computer Science degree (or closely related technical or scientific discipline)
- Desirable: familiarity with sample management operations/systems or other relevant life science/bio-pharmaceutical industry
