We are looking for a Junior Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong commercial background to develop their financial analysis and reporting skills in a supportive environment. For more information about Landbay please visit our website: https://landbay.co.uk/about-us The role We’re looking for a candidate with a commercial background and experience of conducting business analysis and reporting in a fast paced business to support stakeholders in understanding performance and the ability to influence decision making using insights.. This will involve: Business Partnering Building stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and influencing decision making Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial stakeholders providing insights and guidance Producing timely and accurate financial reports, conducting variance and articulating current business performance to senior stakeholders Deep dive cost centre analysis on key themes and trends summarising findings and making recommendations Planning & forecasting Supporting budgeting and re-forecast cycles Become an expert on our cost base; being able to find synergies and avenues for cost savings Ensuring that deviations to budget are understood and communicated real time to avoid surprises Responsible for the preparation, review and challenge of business unit OPEX templates/submissions Consolidation of department submissions to understand and challenge performance at an overall business level Support with operational planning, scenario analysis and board deck preparation Other Leverage technology and best practice to improve financial reporting and analysis Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practice Supporting adhoc projects and new and ongoing projects Desired Skills & Experience Experience Commercial mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture behind the numbers Ability to thrive in fast paced environment prioritising and producing deliverables in appropriate timescale Excellent time management and expectation management skills Track record of working in similar roles working with cross functional teams preferred Prior experience working in FinTech company advantageous but not essential Skills Advanced Excel skills and diverse modelling experience Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills Knowledge of Causal, Looker or Netsuite advantageous but not essential Ability to partner with senior non finance stakeholders Location & Logistics Position is based in Victoria, central London, reporting to Head of Commercial Finance The Application Process If you are successful and shortlisted for the role, there will be a HR screening followed by a test and a 2-stage interview process with team Company benefits Generous holiday entitlement Share options Flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week Generous pension scheme Health insurance Enhanced maternity / paternity leave Life Insurance Cycle-to-work scheme Regular Social events Landbay is an equal opportunity employer.
