Roofing Labourer

Elite Energy is a market leading company in the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design and installation of energy efficient measures throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a team of two roofers to join us, based out of the Leeds area.

As a Roofing Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting our roofer with installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on domestic properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of roofing techniques and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Assisting our Roofer with the below duties, plus any additional duties required
- Extending Rooflines
- Solar panel installation
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
- Install new roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal
- Repair damaged roofs by replacing broken or missing shingles, tiles, or flashing
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete roofing tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights

Qualifications and experience;
- Experience of Roofing would be a bonus
- Labouring experience is essential to be considered for this role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to roofing work
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with flexibility towards travel outside of these times (paid as overtime) and Saturday working on a rota (paid as overtime).

Annual starting salary for this role is £25,000, paid monthly.

A company vehicle will be provided for this role. You must have a full UK driving licence to be considered.
