Job Title: Finance Business Partner, Technology

Role Description
- Experience working in a matrix organisation.
- Work closely with senior partners in Technology, providing insight on financial results, budgeting, and strategy.

Job Role Requirements

Monthly PL
- Consolidate, review, and report the monthly performance, concentrating on the Technology hub and global Technology cost PLs.
- Working together with Tech CTO, prepare and present at the Monthly Business Review to the CEO and CFO
- Detailed month end activities
- Consolidation and communication of Tech timesheets to local finance
- Variance analysis against forecast/budget and adjustments
- Intercompany cost reviews, specifically for Technology recharges such as staff and Cloud costs
- Headcount review
- Fixed Asset suspense clear down
- Balance Sheet review and assist with clear downs.

CAPEX
- Coordinate with business partners, governance, ownership of CAPEX policy.
- Key role in the consolidation, reporting and communicating functional roadmaps and business cases.
- Consolidate, review, and present the monthly performance of Global CAPEX
- Complete Kantar month end reporting requests such as CAPEX reporting
- Responding to ad hoc queries and analysis

Budgeting and Forecasting
- Working with Tech partners to produce the annual PL budget and quarterly forecast.
- Translating and communicating the budget and forecast plans to local teams.
- Responsible for Media overall CAPEX forecast reporting.
- OneStream activities:

- Update and prepare the UK files for upload.
- Complete OS schedules such as CAPEX, Headcount, Staff Reconciliation

Adhoc
- Represent Tech Media at Kantar Tech Finance forums and initiatives.
- Understand and reallocate central recharges such as Kyndryl, Azure, AWS, Databricks
- Work with advisors on annual UK R&D tax credit.
- Form relationships with key vendor partners such as Cognizant and Persistent
- Supplier/procurement/contract reviews
- Transfer Pricing

Role Requirements
- Commercial mind set / business orientation.
- Deadline driven and can multi-task.
- Gravitas, self-awareness, and relationship-building skills needed to establish rapport and influence senior internal and external partners.
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate track record of achievement
- Experience of working in solving situations
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Interested in working in dynamic international private equity owned company.
- 5 years + experience in commercial finance role
