Caretaker

**Contract: 20 hours per week**

**Band D (£20,043 - £20,444) pro rota**

**Working hours: approx. 3.30pm - 7.45pm**

Ridgeway High School is a popular and oversubscribed school. The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and conscientious caretaker to join the Ridgeway staff.

You will be responsible for locking the school in the evenings, supporting the cleaners in their duties, and completing general maintenance and DIY around the school and grounds as required to help ensure the safety, security and cleanliness of the premises. You will be reliable and punctual, as the responsibility for locking the school on time will rest with you. You will be comfortable taking on general maintenance, DIY and cleaning roles throughout your working day. Prior school experience would be an advantage but is not essential. However, you must have previous keyholding experience.

This is an all-year-round post. Hours during school holidays can differ to integrate with other members of the premises team.
