Overview:
Reporting to the Slaughter Hall Manager, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the effective and efficient running of the Lairage Department at Dunbia (Dungannon) Primary for Beef and Lamb processing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Animal welfare within the Lairage department
- Processing paperwork and permits
- Completion of departmental audits and KPIs
- Organisation of staff
- Supervision of day to day duties associaated with the lairage
- Dealing with customers and audits
- Dealing with any day to day issues/problems that may arise
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with beef and lamb animal handling is essential
- IT knowledge is essential for this role
- Previous supervisory or people management experience would be advantageousa
