Our client is looking for a skilled Cyber Security Specialist, with expert knowledge of current cyber security standards and solutions, to maintain all aspects of their information systems and ensure compliance with legislation, regulation, and relevantstandards. Sounds interesting? Read on

**High level description of skills**:

- Provide cyber security expertise, clearly communicating the benefits of effective and proportionate security design.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing security solutions.
- Ability to work within an ITIL and ISO270001 environment.

You will also be responsible for the authorisation and monitoring of access to IT facilities or infrastructure in accordance with established organisational policy. Includes investigation of unauthorised access, compliance with relevant legislation and theperformance of other administrative duties relating to security management.

**Experience Required**:

- Commercial experience of working in IT Security based roles, with the relevant industry experience and/or qualifications (e.g. CASP, CISSP).
- Experience with multi-vendor firewalls, configuration of multi-layer security solutions and management of SIEM solutions
- Experience with cyber security concepts, such as threat detections, incidents response, penetration testing (external / internal), malware and DDoS mitigation.

**Technical Environment / Skills Requirements**:

- Firewalls - Juniper or recognised equivalent
- Linux operating system
- Windows Server Technology / Active Directory
- SCCM, Powershell
- VMware concepts, or recognised equivalent (e.g. Hyper-V / Azure)
- Identity & Access Management Solutions
- Office 365/Azure
- Private, Public and Secure Cloud Computing
- SMTP Edge Gateway / VPN concepts
