You will be supporting and developing the IT infrastructure within the company, specifically the storage, networks (LAN & WAN), central servers, backups and security.

You will have experience in Window service support, managing a Windows active directory and implementing and managing large SAN environments.

**Duration**: Permanent

**Duties**:

- Create, devise, and implement new infrastructure designs to continuously improve performance, availability and security.
- Provision hardware and firmware upgrades to infrastructure
- Lead any infrastructure projects
- Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures.
- Provide second line support to the ServiceDesk for issues that cannot be resolved there.
- Solving technical problems related to the IT infrastructure.
- Creating knowledge base documentation for ServiceDesk staff
- Key point of contact for telecommunication carriers and infrastructure service providers.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and faults.

**Skills/Experience required**:

- Windows server support experience
- Experience managing a Windows Active Directory, DNS,DHCP,GPO, MDT, and Exchange environment
- Experience of implementing and managing large SAN environments
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching and IP addressing
- Understanding of communication technologies including SDWAN, SIP, Ethernet.
- Excellent communication skills and experience effectively communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrate efficient and effective use of problem-solving and task prioritisation to solve complex technical challenges
- Management of virtualisation technologies particularly VMware.
- Hands-on experience installing, managing, upgrading and troubleshooting enterprise-class voice systems preferably with a focus on Mitel technologies.
