Writer/content Creator

**Key tasks**:
To work as part of a PR team on different accounts including:

- Helping the PR team to identify stories, hooks and angles
- Drafting questions to extract all relevant information
- Interviewing clients and their customers/suppliers via video call or phone
- Drafting press releases and case studies
- Pre-placing (pitching), interviewing and writing features
- Identifying relevant forthcoming feature opportunities
- Forming relationships with key media contacts
- Populating client newsletters and other digital comms such as mailers
- Researching and drafting blogs and other website content
- Drafting social media content, primarily for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
- Occasionally drafting content for client brochures and literature

**Other Activities**:

- Regular duties include developing new themes and ideas.
- Attending office planning meetings and reporting back on work in progress.
- Alerting the directors of any client or supplier related issues that could affect the company.
- Liaising with other members of the PR and marketing team on related issues such as joint meetings, circulation of releases, digital images and occasionally providing support for account related issues.

Recognising that the company is a small business, a flexible approach is needed and you will on occasion be asked to assist with duties outside the above description.

Monday to Friday hours between 9 - 5.30pm but flexible to times and days (22.5-37.5 Hours each week)

Salary £24k-£26k DOE plus bonus on a full time basis. 21 days holiday rising to 29 plus public holidays
