**Head of Software Engineering**

We are partnered with a world-leading AI & Computer Vision scaleup who have just started their search for a new Head of Software Engineering to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will see you working directly with the company founders on the business'technical strategy and will see you being responsible for all key decisions surrounding Software Engineering and Architecture.

Having raised just over £30m to date, the company build incredibly interesting AI Technology that is revolutionising the way people engage with the physical environment and, in the process of expanding to 4 new countries this year alone, they're poised forunparalleled success. Your role will see you directly contributing to the scaling of the tech team and you will be responsible for leading innovation across the Software side of the business.

Key skills/experience:

- 3+ Years in Senior Leadership roles, ideally within a startup/scaleup environment
- Expert-level knowledge in one of; Python, JavaScript, Typescript or Java
- Strong strategic skills - management, mentoring, dealing with senior/c-level stakeholders, technical roadmap development and innovation

Beneficial:

- Mobile Development - Android in particular, and experience with Kotlin would be a plus
- Data Science & Analytics experience
- MSc or PhD in related field - Software Engineering or AI would be ideal
