**Oxfam Retail Charity Shop - Volunteer - Social Media Expert (Over 18)**

Are you passionate about making poverty a thing of the past?

**Do you enjoy using Social Media?**

If your answer is yes, then why not come and volunteer at our Darlington Oxfam Shop and make a difference, meet new people, learning new skills or using the skills you already have?

We can be very flexible around parenting / caring / health / employment / education and any other commitments you have. Some travel and lunch expenses can be covered too. If you have a couple of hours to give to Oxfam, then we'd like to hear from you.

Please Note: We are unable to take under 18’s at present due to our shops bieng at capacity with a waiting list.

**This role involves**:

- Advertising shop promotions
- Sharing Shop success with donated items
- Sharing Oxfam’s Current Appeals
- Keeping the shop profile active
- Helping to build our online presence, e.g., number of followers on Instagram.
- Creating content to promote the shop and the volunteering opportunities in the store, or to highlight products sold in-store.
- Using different styles of post to keep the content fresh and interesting.
- An enthusiasm for Oxfam's work and helping others get involved is important
