Renewable Parts is a growing and innovative supply chain partner in the wind energy sector. We offer services including supply chain management, refurbishment, and technical services, as well as supply of parts and consumables. Renewable Parts currently work with leading wind farm owners and operators including RWE Renewables, SSE Renewables and Scottish Power Renewables.

To help with our continued growth and long-term vision, Renewable Parts is looking for a forward thinking Workshop Assistant to help us realise our vision for a more sustainable green energy industry.

**The role**

As a fast growth business, focused on delivering high quality supply chain solutions, we are recruiting for a permanent workshop assistant to be based in our Lochgilphead site. This role will contribute to the end of end process in refurbishing wind turbine parts.

**Key Responsibilities**

The workshop assistant role includes:

- Day to day refurbishments within workshop
- Record keeping including health and safety, risk assessments and fire precautions
- Maintenance of workshop and equipment
- Quality control on finished refurbished components
- Liaising with sub-contractors on work carried out externally (as required)
- Liaising with warehouse in Renfrew for goods incoming/outgoing
- Ensuring adherence to the quality management system.

**Key Requirements**
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- A self-motivated and can-do attitude
- Science or mathematical qualifications are desirable
