Contingent Commander

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Contingent Commander to head up the Cadet contingent within the College. This includes the leadership and development of the CCF function, ensuring that each student is positively encouraged to develop their greatest potential.

The core purpose of this post is to manage and develop the College’s CCF, assisting with the running and organisation of the Cadet contingent and to participate fully in CCF activities. The Contingent Commander will be supported by a part-time School Staff Instructor (SSI), who will oversee all training, management of stores, equipment, security, weapons maintenance and administration. The Contingent Commander line manages the Head of RAF Section and the Head of the Army Section. The Contingent Commander is responsible for the effective deployment of the CCF staff and their continued professional development to ensure that they are appropriately trained to lead and implement the syllabus.
