Domestic Assistant

Bank domestic assistant required for our care home in Largs.

You will be required to work to cover for illness, holidays and when we are extra busy, as and when, so being flexible is a key attribute to this role. The role would be a great starting point for someone who is looking for experience in Health and Social care

Purpose of Role

To maintain a hygienic safe and pleasant environment for all residents, staff and visitors

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with a strict cleaning schedule. Cleaning duties can be in any area of the Home.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect in this, or furnishings, to the Home Manager/Deputy.
- Use only the products specifically selected for the purpose.
- PVG (Disclosure Scotland) essential, and is free for new staff members

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 1 per week
