Abingdon Street Market are looking for a Bartender to work in our newly opened food hall in Blackpool town centre - do you have what it takes?

Our bartenders provide a welcoming environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, in addition to serving drinks. Bartenders must have a good knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic mixers. You need to be outgoing, hard-working and have a willingness to learn and continuously improve on your product knowledge. Below is a list of expectations in your role as a bartender:

- Experience working within a food & beverage operation.
- A people person who can build strong relationships with guests.
- Familiarity with using till systems.
- Proactive and independent.
- Disciplined and process orientated.
- Flexible and willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills.

**A little more about the role Itself**
- Preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic including cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Using a till to take orders and process payments.
- Checking customers identification and age verification.
- Engaging with customers and advising them about current promotions and offerings.
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards.
- Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed.
- Changing kegs, gas, and post mix.
- Reporting directly to your supervisor or line manager.
- Clearing and cleaning tables quickly and efficiently.
- Customer service skills, including being knowledgeable about products to assist customers and give recommendations.
- Enjoy working with others and be able to cooperate as part of a team.
- Have availability for working weekends and bank holidays.
- Active listening skills and a good memory for remembering different orders from different customers.
- Calm demeanour to deal with demanding customers.
- Be passionate, dynamic, creative and have excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a noisy, high-pressure environment and be able to deal with multiple requests at once.
- Ability to multitask and remain organised during a busy period.
- Keeping busy and forward thinking during quieter periods.
- Keeping on top of weekly cleaning jobs.
- Comply with all in house systems including our paperwork management app Pineapple.

**What we are offering**
- Flexible hours, based in central Blackpool, across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic wages will be £10.42-11.44 per hour, paid weekly.
- Earliest start time of 9:30am, latest finish 11:30pm.
