Pharmacy Dispenser

A vacancy has arisen within Kevin Thomas Pharmacy for a pharmacy dispenser (NVQ 2/3 in pharmacy services required).

As a valued member of the pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing healthy lifestyle advice to customers and engaging with local GP surgeries. You will be required to have excellent customer care and communication skills. You will also be required to dispense medication efficiently and safely and to manage stock levels within the dispensary.

Other duties will include:

- Dispensing community nomad trays,
- Ordering and checking medication upon receipt,
- Date checking of medication,
- Ensuring the pharmacy is kept clean and tidy,
- Generating prescription labels and assembling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience at NVQ2 (desirable but not essential). But it isn't all about experience, we are looking for someone who is confident and has a friendly personality. You will also need to forge strong relationships with the pharmacy team and customers and have a passion for delivering a high level of customer service.
