About the job

As the Maintenance Storekeeper, your job is to ensure an optimal flow of incoming and outgoing goods streams at N+P and to maintain a balanced inventory, and improve the efficiency of the logistics process while actively contributing to the orderly and well-organised management of the warehouses.

Additionally, you identify and report obstacles related to deliveries, you accurately store and inspect incoming goods, and you maintain accurate data records.

In sum, your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Optimal flow of incoming and outgoing goods steams and warehouse management in the department
- A (centralized and decentralized) balanced inventory
- Keeping the warehouses orderly and well-organized and actively thinks along in constantly improving and making the logistics process more efficient
- Checking and reporting obstacles regarding deliveries.
- Storing and checking incoming goods for damage and specifications, quantity delivered and quantity ordered.
- You record data on incoming/outgoing goods, return goods, pre-stock usage and stock levels.
- Supporting or replacing in the absence of the warehouse assistant / order picker.

**Requirements**:

- Completed apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) in appropriate engineering discipline
- Experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
- Possession of HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Full driving licence
- Awareness of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and their impacts
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft office systems
- Good understanding of a proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, purpose and functionality

What we offer
- Hourly salary of £14.75.
- You wil work in dayshifts from 7:00 am untill 17:30pm, minus one hour for break what gives 9.5 paid hours.
