Reed Finance are pleased to be working with our client, a privately owned business trading internationally, to find a new Finance Analyst to join the team.This newly created role has come about through growth within the business and a desire to built onthis growth and drive improvements and profitability across the business.

Reporting into a supportive and knowledgeable Financial Controller, this role will offer plenty of development opportunities as the business grows and allow you to take ownership of a key area within the finance function.

A few key responsibilities:

- Ownership of all stock reporting (daily, weekly and monthly), which includes monitoring stock movement and producing accurate stock valuations
- Oversee monthly profitability reporting
- Work closely with the team to play a key role in month end, quarter end and year end closes
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as required
- Work closely with the FC to maintain controls and drive improvements across all processes and procedures

A few key requirements:

- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Strong IT skills - Excel is important, with a knowledge of Sage 50, Power BI and Recy Stock System being advantageous
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment or where stock pays a key role
