Website Content Officer

Summary

We are looking to recruit two Website Content Officers to join our Communications Team on a 2-year temporary/fixed term contract or secondment for internal employees.

**LIVE **WORK** INNOVATE**

The Communications Team is responsible for delivering a centralised service that covers communication, marketing, events, and reputation management to maintain and enhance the Council’s brand image.

**About the role**

You will also be responsible for training Web Editors on how to use the website content management system and promote a digital-first response to inquiries. You will also be ensuring the website’s content is presented in plain English and is easy to navigate.

**About you**

The importance of strong communication, marketing, and engagement are key skills in this role. This feeds directly into the planning, implementation, and success of the Council Website.

Experience in database/website management, research-based work, and partnership working are essential, along with a high level of IT knowledge and an understanding of social media.

Professional communication is essential to maintain trust and respect in the local government.

**Interviews will be held on: 10 February 2023
