**Job overview**:
To deliver practical assistance to customers in their own homes in emergency situations

To work independently within a control centre environment, answering emergency calls

To take an active role in co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating individual client care

**Main duties of the job**:
Answer emergency calls in the busy control centre, updating the system with accurate and appropriate records.

Respond to emergency calls via attending customers' homes to assess and support needs including first aid, supporting customers up from falls, contacting other services where needed including emergency services, and maintaining accurate records.

Cleaning down of alarm equipment upon its return to the service.

Creating welcome packs for new customers.

Archiving customers coming off the service.

Other admin duties as appropriate to the role.
