An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Receptionist to join the team at our client’s 4-star hotel in the heart of Windsor.

As Head Receptionist, you will ensure guests receive consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

This position is based on working 40 hours a week 5 days out of 7, with regular weekend work required (particularly during the bust summer months). The shift pattern is 7am-3.30pm and 2.15-10.45pm.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Receptionist in a quality hotel of a similar size or at Head Receptionist in a smaller property.
- Self-motivation and be able to motivate others to achieve through proven man-management skills, coaching and team building.
- Strong organisational skills and be able to implement, work with and monitor systems and procedures ensuring attention to detail at all times.
- Good understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation.
- Be IT literate - Microsoft Office, Opera PMS preferred
- An excellent command of written & spoken English and numeracy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and motivate the team to deliver and maintain efficient standards of service to customers at all times.
- Ensuring company operating standards are upheld at all times.
- Carrying out on-job coaching and training ensuring training records are maintained.
- Helping to monitor guest feedback and take any necessary actions.
- Implementing up-selling techniques and monitoring room allocations in order to maximise revenue.
- Liaising with Reservations and Housekeeping departments.
- Managing and monitoring rotas to ensure staffing meets business demand.
- Assisting with holiday cover for Night Audit team.
- Duty Management Shifts.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
