**Welder Fabricator | Whitstable | 07:00-15:30 Mon-Fri | Salary is negotiable depending on experience**

Our client has specialised in the development, manufacture and installation of screened enclosures since 1964 and continues to build upon the extensive experience gained over the last five decades.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ/Indentured Apprenticeship or equivalent experience essential
- Soldering and/or CNC Operator Fabricator qualification would be beneficial
- CSCS registration would be beneficial but not essential
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings essential
- Capable of working on own initiative
- MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE WITHIN THE UK

**What will your role as a Welder Fabricator look like?**
- Fabricate high quality components including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery, e.g. welding plants (tig, mig etc.), punches, press brake and saws
- Fabricate components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method of working
- Complete work documents and records
- Maintain a safe working environment, follow procedures, comply with legal regulations
- Ensure work equipment is used appropriately by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform preventative maintenance
- Meet quality targets and maintain quality standards
