Hgv Mechanic/ Garage Forman

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client who is based in Armagh - they are currently recruiting a Full Time Garage Foreman/ HGV Mechanic.

The Foreman will be responsible for the efficient running of the garage and will support Junior Mechanics spending time within service bays, training, motivating, and assisting.

Typical Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the day to day running of the Garage. Managing the junior mechanics and allocating and distributing work throughout the team
Co-ordination and supervision of all the Garage staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
Responsible for liaising with management on a daily basis
Proven experience working as a Senior Mechanic/ Fitter Role with relevant mechanical qualification or time served
Assessing the workshop productivity and ensuring tasks are being safely and efficiently and that health & safety measures are adhered to

What they are looking for:
You must be capable of leading a team. You would ideally have supervisory/ Management experience
You must be organised and able to prioritise workloads
Have good verbal communication skills and be organised with Paperwork
You should have a flexible attitude and able to work under pressure
Proven mechanical experience on commercial Vehicles and or Trailers
- have HGV Mechanical

**Qualifications**:
Strong Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and diagnostic fault finding

Salary will be determined at interview based on experience.
