Junior Buyer

Our client is looking for a Junior Buyer to join their fast passed and ever growing company on a permanent basis to support the entire end to end procurement process as well as planning and executing key contract renewals and new business requirements asper the sourcing pipeline.

The Junior Buyer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving volume growth and rebate opportunities to benefit Compass & our External clients. The Junior Buyer will need to have some exposure in procurement or assisting at a assistantbuyer level.

**Key Responsibilities as a Junior Buyer**:

- Plan, develop and execute a procurement strategy that delivers sustainable purchasing income & robust contracts with year-on-year improvements.
- Engage with senior level stakeholders across to jointly execute strategic projects.
- Acquires and maintains understanding of category trends, market forces, cost data and supplier intelligence.
- Manage the timely delivery of the procurement and sourcing initiatives and report accordingly
- Managing category related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for pricing negotiation within category
- Building analysis to optimise buying power across all markets
- Conducting industry analysis to support business stakeholders with commercial understanding of the market place
