Romac Logistics Ltd are a UK based logistics provider offering temperature-controlled warehouse and transport solutions to the food and beverage industry.

We are seeking Accounts Assistant to join our growing Finance team. _The role will initially be based in Worsley, but will relocate to Urmston within the next 6 months._

We are looking for an individual who would like the opportunity to develop a career in Finance and be a part of a growing company and developing Finance Team. If you are highly motivated, driven, and willing to put in both learning and commitment, this is the position for you. _This is a full time, office based role_.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The ability to prioritise workload to maintain accuracy and high efficiency is essential.
- Responsibilities include input and maintenance of a high transactional purchase ledger including statement reconciliation.
- Processing of purchase orders and invoices
- Setting up new supplier accounts
- Maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Resolving supplier queries and disputes
- Coding, batching and matching invoices; and processing payments
- Other duties will be required supporting the finance team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks, maintaining reports and completing bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company

**Accounting and Systems**
- Working knowledge of Sage packages (Sage Line 50, would be an advantage).
- IT literate and able to learn new skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
- Purchase ledger is essential, sales ledger desireable
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- A meticulous and methodical approach, attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently to meet deadlines

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
