**About The Role**

You will be part of the Statsbomb UX/UI team which covers UI, UX and User Research expertise it delivers industry leading sport analytic products. Your role will be focused on the User Experience design in order to work across all our product teams at all stages of development.

The Junior UX designer will be responsible for delivering one of our core products. The role will report directly to the UX/UI Manager of Data Creation Products and will work closely with the UX/UI Global Team Lead. They will also work alongside the other UX designers, the User Researcher, the UI expert and the project managers to design and build industry leading products that are a joy to use and solve our customer problems.

Ideally you will have a love of sport and a basic understanding of football/soccer and American football. An understanding of basketball would be a bonus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering:

- User requirements and story-boards
- High-fidelity UX specifications including wireframes
- Implement UI components which have been created by our UI designers
- Low-fidelity prototypes for user testing and reviews
- Working closely with
- Our User Researcher, Product Owner and end users in order to develop personae and user journeys, create user requirements and constantly iterate on your design via user trials and user surveys
- Our UI expert to make sure that UX and UI feels integrated
- Software engineers and project managers in order to deliver our products

**Your Technical Skills**

Essential:

- Experience of Figma and JIRA
User Experience (UX) design
- Workshop/Brainstorming techniques

Desirable:

- User Interface (UI)
- User Research
- Basic knowledge and passion for sport
- Design on mobile, tablet or desktop
- Wireframe tools

**Your Background**
- Educational background in User Experience (Bachelor or Master)
- UX portfolio demonstrating your technical skills and quality of work
- Ability to work and collaborate in a remote working environment
- Ability to be logical and present clearly different design options with Pros and Cons
- Motivation to learn and use feedback to improve performance
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Fluent in English
