As a Restaurant Host at The Peterboat, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is seamless and memorable from start to finish. Your warm and professional demeanour will set the tone for an exceptional visit, whilst your proficiency with our booking system, will allow you to efficiently manage reservations and optimise table turnover.

You'll be the go-to person for customer enquiries, providing accurate and helpful information with a friendly and knowledgeable approach.

**What Will You Be Doing as a Restaurant Host?**
- Welcome guests with a genuine smile and a professional attitude, making them feel valued and appreciated
- Demonstrate exceptional competence in using our Zonal booking system, managing reservations, and optimising table turnover times
- Proactively answer customer enquiries, providing accurate and helpful information about our menu, services, and promotions
- Collaborate with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of service, contributing to an outstanding guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting reception area that reflects our commitment to excellence

- Exceptional communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to handle customer enquiries with patience and expertise
- A strong aptitude for learning and using technology, with the ability to master our Zonal booking system quickly and efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that reservations are managed accurately
- A team-oriented mindset, collaborating effectively with colleagues to deliver a seamless guest experience
