The role involves driving and operating a waste vehicle in the city centre to provide a regular bin and litter bin emptying service for residents and businesses alike. The role will also involve some elements of litter picking and litter bin emptying and you will be responsible for maintaining cleansing standards in the city centre.

You must be physically fit and be able to operate machinery. You will be responsible for driving a 7.5 tonne waste vehicle and undertaking safety checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.

You must also hold a driving licence (C1 category) to be considered for this role.

This role works 74 hours a fortnight on a rota basis and you will be required to work every other Saturday and Sunday as part of this rota.
