**Apprentice Laboratory Technician**

Your goal will be to learn how to analyse samples to ensure compliance and determine their suitability for recovery.

A typical day consists of:

- Working closely with production management and production staff to ensure the smooth running of the site.
- Being responsible for the analysis of incoming bulk oils to ensure suitability to process through the plant.
- Keeping accurate records on waste material arriving onsite.
- Assist with running of all operational and other sampling requirements

Midland Oil are looking for meticulous people like you to assist with the day-to-day production testing at their laboratory based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This won’t be a sterile environment so requires someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in.

- Starting salary of £5.60 ph (rises to NMW by age after 12 months)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Workings hours are 37.5 hours per week
