The Commercial team typically get involved in activities relating to product marketing, sales, product development and customer service aimed at driving immediate but sustainable business growth. We have a rare opportunity for someone to join us in a new role that is part of our new and exciting rotational commercial programme. You will benefit from being handed responsibility from the outset, it is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a broad understanding of the commercial function, as well as receiving support in building key skills. You will have the chance to learn and grow whilst working across different departments as your career progresses - experiencing unrivalled scale, complexity, and challenge.

If you have a commercial mindset and are excited by the opportunity, the commercial rotational programme could be for you. The programme will be split into time-specific placements spending between six to eight months at a time rotating across various business functions, teams and possibly locations, this means that a large degree of flexibility is required.

Rotations give you the opportunity to experience different departments and get a feel for various roles. This variety helps your professional development. It’s also a chance to discover the kind of work you find most fulfilling

**Main Purpose**

The time specific placements will broadly be made up of the following areas:
- Product management - This will give you an opportunity to get hands on product management experience supporting the wider Product Management Team in a variety of tasks including NPI phase in and phase out, pricing, market research, commercial analysis, preparation of product related marketing materials, website, trademarks, SAP and Product Information Databases.
- Sales - You will work closely with the external sales team and be responsible for increasing sales volumes of all GDHV products through the Distribution, Wholesale and Merchant channels while maintaining and increasing product specifications within the social housing sector to be delivered via the trade route.
- Brand Marketing - You will support the development and lead various and engaging campaigns and promotional events to drive sales. You will support in the creation and manage content for the website, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Sales & Planning - this role will involve producing in-depth analysis of data from a wide range of sources to understand and develop plans and create insight to prepare sell in decks. You will be responsible for unlocking valuable insights that feed into decision-making and value generation.

**Travel**
- You will need to hold a full valid UK driving licence.
- Your base will be Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2DF, and you will need to be prepared to travel to other locations with overnight stays inside and outside of the UK as per guidelines.
