Salary of between **£20,988 - £25,064.00**
- 6.5 weeks Annual Leave as standard
- An Additional day of Annual Leave at 3, 4, and 5 years of service

Recent experience and a genuine passion for teaching students in early years with special educational needs is essential. Ideally, you will have a qualification in childcare and experience using PECS and Makaton and working with children with speech and language requirements, IEP’S, challenging behaviour, Autism.
- **Your role as SENDCO will include**:_
- Having great team working skills and good communication skills are imperative, this involves listening, questioning, and understanding and responding to what is being communicated by children and those caring for them.
- Working with, and co-ordinating and leading meetings with parents and outside agencies.
- Training staff members on various SEND aspects
- Having energy and vision to work with our talented teaching team across the whole nursery, to ensure excellent provision, inclusive practice and outcomes for children with SEND.
- Having the drive and commitment to identify pupils' needs and to secure and utilise additional resources for pupils with SEND
- Having the drive and ability to secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children no matter their starting point
- Alongside your role as SENDCO, you will be expected to work within our pre-school room as a early years practitioner, please note for this position you would be required to hold a minimum of a Level 2 Qualification in Early Years, however a Level 3 is preferred.
