Our client is an established supplier of automated packaging machinery to the the food and pharmaceutical industries and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Project Engineer.

**The Role**:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of projects including planning, delivery, installation and commissioning of new machinery for each customer.

Duties will include site surveys, design factory layouts using AutoCAD, ordering all materials including duct work and machinery, organising labour etc etc through to completion and customer sign off.

Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Build & maintain excellent relationships with customers, internal and external engineers and contractors required to successfully deliver machine installs.
- Undertake site surveys, design factory layouts using AutoCAD, for client approval
- Recommend, specify additional production line requirements and ancillary equipment
- Monitor and control all engineers and subcontractors on site
- Manage and control project risks HSE etc etc.
- Liaise with internal and external clients throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Provide regular reports to all parties including project progress, cost and compliance

You will be an experienced Project Manager (Engineer) with excellent mechanical and electrical engineering skills and ideally you will have a good technical understanding of high speed automated machinery.
You will have a strong manufacturing background preferably from the packaging or corrugating industry.
Applicants must have AutoCAD experience and those with Auto CAD Inventor experience would be beneficial.

You must have a full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday
