**Aim of Role**

This is a fun, varied and interesting administration role for the right administrator. Jungle Tots Nursery is now 3 years old and as it grows, the manager and team need extra help to ensure the smooth running of all administration roles in the office. So we need well organised highly personable and efficient administrator.

**Main Duties/ Responsibilities**:

- Helping the manager take enquiries and answering questions to parents and carers.
- Providing phone support: answering enquiries, taking details of customer problems and either answering the query or passing it to the relevant room leader (ensuring follow up call happens).
- Engage with parents and carers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their requirements, conerns or questions.
- Helping ensure any extra charges are correctly placed on parent invoice potal.
- Chasing any outstanding payments.
- Helping ensure all HR documents for new starters and ongoing training are completed and filled correctly.
- Helping with parent communication on our parent portal 'Blossom'.
- Helping room leaders with any administration they need.
- Communicating on daily basis with the kitchen with updated menu requirements for the children
- Other duties as requested.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Experience in a busy office-based role
- Great telephone manner, comfortable dealing in an open, friendly way with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Strong computer skills including use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Able to work under pressure, work under own initiative and prioritise work load.
- Experience of the child care sector either through previous work experience or as a parent would be desirable but not essential.

**Education**:

- A-Level C passes or equivalent or higher

**Hours**

This is a part-time role. We could be flexible on the hours below for the right person.

Ideal hours are spread over 5 days.

Mon to Fri 9.30am to 12.30pm

(15 hours in total)

Please note this is NOT a term time only role as the nursery is open througout the whole year and hence the team do need support in the office throughout the whole year.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.55 per hour
