**Job description**:
**Daily responsibilities will include**:

- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications and requirements.
- Install and secure steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh in concrete forms.
- Cut and bend steel bars to required shapes and sizes using hand and power tools.
- Position and tie steel bars and mesh using wire and spacers.
- Ensure the proper alignment and positioning of steel reinforcement.
- Work closely with site supervisors and other construction workers to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on site.

**Requirements for the role**
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools relevant to steel fixing.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures and best practices.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by **ITS Building People** for a small fee.

**Rate of Pay**

Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
