Furniture Sprayer

Established in 2008, Spyker Design and Productions ltd started out as a creative retail display specialist. From these origins we have grown and diversified, taking on a range of projects from office fit-outs to experiential marketing campaigns.

Person/Experience Required:

- Experienced and skilled in the spraying of paint/lacquers
- Prepare items for spraying, including de-nibbing, sanding and filling
- Have experience using polyester based paints, experience in high gloss and burnishing
- Have a full understanding of commercial wood finishing techniques
- Must be organised
- Have the ability to estimate time required for jobs, be responsible for finishing furniture to deadlines and to a high standard
- Manage quality control (visual quality checks) and reporting any defects
- Managing stock levels
- Be competent in Health and Safety procedures
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Select, match and mix colours
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and/or under your own initiative
Own Transport preferred

Hours will be Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week and overtime is available during busy periods.

Starting Rates between £15 and £20 p/h dependable on the skills and experience. Great eye for detail and high quality standards are a must, and once again opportunity to grow for the right person.
