**RETAIL SUPPORT THE ROLE - Bicycle Industry**

Working for a world leading, global bicycle brand, the role will involve working closely with your partnered Retail Sales Manager and the retailers in their dedicated area. You will be responsible for providing an industry leading service to Giant’s loyal and passionate retail network offering every aspect of support, including dealing with warranty claims, processing sales orders, and dealing with Click & Collect and stock consignment for our franchise stores.

**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Loading of sales orders and warranty orders into the internal system
- Managing our franchise store stock consignment process
- Creating and using reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with our logistics and distribution partners to update on delivery and order status or returns
- Proactively work with your retailers on future deliveries, products, promotions and any other beneficial initiatives
- Provide assistance with, or conduct other duties as and when required

**THE PERSON**

Working in a small team, you will be a team player who is a confident communicator both verbally and written with a natural ability to build rapport easily with our valued retailers. You will be able to manage a varied and busy workload whilst showing a willingness to learn additional skills outside of the role. You must possess an excellent understanding of MS Excel and Outlook.

Knowledge of bikes, componentry, rider accessories and technical knowledge would be extremely advantageous.

The role may require some travel to either visit your area’s retail stores or support their events from time to time; so, a driving licence will be essential for the role.

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience of having used Microsoft Outlook and Excel on a daily basis
- Demonstrate previous administrative and customer service experience, ideally within a telephone-based or customer facing environment
- A sound understanding of bicycles, their componentry and rider accessories is essential to the role and previous industry experience would be very advantageous
- Full driving licence required

**Hours**: Full-time 35 Hours a week as well as supporting out of hours events if required
