Domestic Cleaner

Main duties and responsibilities
- To ensure compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Keeping toilets, baths, sinks, walls and floors clean
- To clean bedrooms, make beds, dust and vacuum all areas
- Maintain clean corridors and communal areas using warning cones when washing floors, shampoo carpets where necessary
- Maintain clean sluices.
- Empty yellow clinical waste bags and rubbish daily
- To keep all areas clean in accordance with cleaning rota or as requested by your manager
- Assist with domestic kitchen duties when required
- To carry out all duties in accordance with The Home policies designed to protect employees and service users.
- Be able to work alone or in a team
- To assist with the maintenance of stock control and work within budget.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Consett DH8 5TH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
