**Position Overview**:
We are in search of a proactive and collaborative Finance Business Partner to provide cover whilst the Finance Director is on maternity leave. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) of Guest Krieger and working closely with current Finance Team, the Finance Business Partner will play a crucial role in liaising with the Group Finance team at PIB Group.

**Key responsibilities**:
Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Work closely with Broking teams and MD to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with organisational goals and PIB Group's strategic objectives.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, performance trends, and variance explanations to support effective decision-making.
- Supporting the MD by preparing and presenting results and budgets to PIB Group on a regular basis.

**Team Collaboration and Leadership**:

- Provide support to Finance Team as and when required, including get involved with day-to-day tasks such as accounts payable, cash book management and IBA accounting.
- Support in the preparation and reviewing of financial data, including tax and regulatory returns.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the Finance team and between Group functions.

**Financial Reporting and Insights**:

- Aide in the preparation of timely financial reports that provide visibility into business performance.
- Analyse financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to MD to drive informed decisions.
- Provide the key link between Guest Krieger's Finance Team and the PIB Group Finance Team.

**Risk Management and Compliance**:

- Collaborate with the compliance and risk management teams to ensure financial practices adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

**Person specification**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar proven experience throughout career
- Proven experience in financial analysis, business partner, or finance-related roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with insurance brokerage operations and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to be adaptable and get involved in all aspects of the Finance Function as and when required by the business.
