**The Job You’ll Do;**
- The management of direct reports including: performance management, recruitment, reward and recognition and training and development
- Prioritising and allocating technical resources to achieve operational goals and objectives
- The achievement of KPI’s (including planned maintenance adherence and time spent on planned maintenance).
- Self and direct reports’ adherence to all legal and safety requirements including BS7671 and Electrical safe systems of work.
- Leading planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
- Supporting the repair and maintenance of all process and facilities equipment in a time efficient manner.
- Supporting the effective diagnosis and timely repair of production process equipment to maximise machine availability
- Supporting scheduled and planned maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Assisting the facilities management of industrial service equipment.

- Have a high level of technical competency
- Be able to communicate across all levels of the business
- Be able to organise, prioritise workload based on criticality to business requirements.
- Be a strong people manager, working to best practice and in line with business and legal requirements.
- Be professional and possess a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Be cross-functionally/collaboratively driven to support achievement of shared goals and objectives.
- Be autonomous with leadership abilities.
- Have served a recognised apprenticeship in relevant Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
- An ONC or equivalent level qualification.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive relevant engineering experience.
- IOSHH Managing Safely qualification
- A Level 3 qualification in leadership and management or relevant experience in a similar or same roles.
