A bit about the role
- Competent Hair and Makeup artist who is as skilled at creating a natural finish to demonstrating innovative techniques and creative flair.
- Daily hair and makeup on 1 - 2 models across Men’s and Women’s unrec Fashion sets plus management of each look required.
- Collaborate with the Photographer, Stylist and Retoucher on creating the strongest imagery that speaks to the Selfridges tone of voice across a multitude of brands
- This is a daily on-set role reporting into the Senior Hair and Makeup Artist
- Responsible for fostering a creative and collaborative environment on set
- Flexibility is essential and the ability to problem solve as required.
- Responsible for supporting the Bookings Editor on daily collection and departure of models to set.
- Collaborate with the Studio Manager on improvements and workflow
- Ability to give and take direction.
- Work on recognizable and unrecognizable creative sets, as required
- Full time, 5 days a week, studio based role.

A bit about you
- Industry experience in e-commerce and editorial beneficial A creative portfolio of Hair and Makeup imagery
- Experienced and competent working with all skin tones and hair types Basic manicure training would be beneficial
- Strong time management skills and flexibility essential
- Strong Fashion and Beauty trend knowledge Excellent attention to detail
- A team player who is just as competent to work independently. Demonstrated experience with a wide range of teams
- Ability to draw on a wide range of references that speak to the Selfridges tone of voice Accuracy and a strong eye for detail ensuring delivery of exceptional work
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional time management.
- Calm within busy environment. You are able to prioritise, are adaptive, with the ability to multi-task effectively
