Banksman

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Banksman to join our team. As a Banksman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and equipment on our construction site. **Duties**:

- Directing the movement of vehicles and equipment on the construction site
- Guiding drivers to ensure safe maneuvering and positioning of vehicles
- Using hand signals or radios to communicate with drivers and operators
- Assisting in the coordination of deliveries and material handling operations
- Conducting regular safety inspections and reporting any hazards or concerns
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with the site team

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Banksman or in a similar role
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Valid Banksman certification or training is required
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
