**Behaviour and Learning Mentor | Mainstream Primary School | Peckham | £80 - £95 per day PAYE**

**ORTUS RECRUITMENT are seeking **an experienced and dedicated Behaviour/Learning Mentor to work within a Year 5 class in a primary school located in Peckham. The role is set to begin after the April holidays and is a full time, long term position with the opportunity to stay on after the summer holidays.

**As a Behaviour/Learning Mentor you will** play a crucial role in providing 1:1 support to pupils in year 5 who require additional help to reach their academic targets by supporting them in class, 1:1 and in small groups. The students you will be supporting will also be on behaviour support plans and you will need to liaise with the Inclusion Lead/SENCO to provide detailed daily feedback and progress reports.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour and/or working alongside SEN learners
- An eager and enthusiastic approach to work
- A patient and nurturing nature
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- A degree or equivalent
- A clear enhanced DBS on the update service
