We have worked with this Plymouth based company for many years, and we are sourcing a Senior Civil Engineer to help run and build their Civils department.
**Company**
They have over 550 staff covering wide ranges of disciplines throughout the United Kingdom. They have been running since 1902, with 18 locations in the UK. They provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering design, for commercial, residential and retailprojects.
Currently the majority of the Plymouth offices work is based outside of the South West, and they would like to be acquire more local work. The Plymouth office is only 6 strong at the moment, and looking to grow as they are growing more in the South West.
**Current Projects**
The company works on mainly Retail and Commercial projects, such as London Underground sub-surface track works, a multi-ten million distribution centre for a major top 4 Supermarket, an 11,000 square metre business park with a two story car park. The multidisciplineconstruction of a Higher-class Brand Supermarket.
**Jobs and Responsibilities**
In this role you will need to be able to:

- Manage Projects
- Draw and design a plethora of different and niche builds such as a Jetty for 40,0000 ton vessels
- Liaising with Customers and Clients throughout the UK
- Calculating and drawing external hard standing builds
- Section agreements such as s38s and 278s

**Qualifications**
You would need industry experience within Civil Engineering, desinigng infrastructure projects
You will also need expereince/wiling to learn.
- Civils3D
- Microdrainage
- AutoCAD
- PDS Software

It would also be recommended to have a firm desire to want to work sustainably, with an eye on the future.
