**Have you supported young people with Autism/ASC and ADHD who also have undiagnosed complex mental health?**

**I am currently working closely with a popular SEND school in Newham and they are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic ASC, SPLD, SEMH Teaching Assistant to join them after May half term. The successful **ASC, SPLD, SEMH** **Teaching Assistant will work full-time during term-time only and you will be supporting children and young people with SEND, particularly with /ASC, **SPLD, and SEMH.**

**Many of the children will also have undiagnosed complex mental health such as bipolar, personality disorder and depression.**

The school provides therapeutic and creative education to children and young people with **ASC, SPLD, **and SEMH. T**hey have committed staff members who are passionate about enhancing the lives of their students through learning. There is a strong emphasis on the importance of communication skills and in leading the young people they work with towards independence.

- Up to 90 per day, depending on experience
- Assisting the teacher and supporting pupils with their learning
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Autism/ASC
- A huge emphasis on creative learning and the Arts
- Small classroom size (up to 6 pupils per class)
- Monday to Friday; long-term contract with a possibility to become permanent
