Phonics Tutor

**Location: Southampton**

**Start Date: January 2, 2024**

**Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday**

Are you passionate about fostering a love for language and literacy in young minds? We are seeking a dedicated Phonics Tutor to join our team in Southampton. As a Phonics Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop strong foundational reading and spelling skills through engaging and interactive phonics instruction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one or small group phonics sessions for students.
- Develop and implement effective phonics lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to provide feedback on student performance.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in phonics education and incorporate best practices into teaching methods.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Phonics Tutor or similar role.
- Strong understanding of phonics principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient and adaptable teaching approach to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning materials.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
