Capital Liaison Inspector

**What you'll do**:
The Capital Liaison Inspector plays a crucial part in the Mainlaying team, ensuring it's delivering the continuous and high-quality supply that our customers expect.

The role will take you across the north, which covers the Trowbridge, Chippenham and Bath areas. You will be provided with a company van to help with your travels around the region.

You will be trained and coached to provide solutions to the network and deal with various issues for planned and reactive work.

You will provide guidance to other members of the project team and expertise in areas of specialist knowledge and experience.

You will also:

- work closely with the Operational team
- act as a liaison between Operations and the Mainlaying team
- write SRAM for construction shuts
- work with Design Engineers on main designs
- complete main shuts when and where required
- complete and submit as laid drawings/handovers with Engineers.

**What you'll need**:
You will be a strong and motivated team player who is proactive, practical and a great problem solver.

You will be able to make decisions under pressure. You will be able to work independently, while also being flexible to work out of hours if required.

In addition, you must have:

- a good knowledge of the distribution network
- good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft programmes
- a full clean driving licence
- strong communication skills
- a can-do approach to work
- the ability to work in accordance with our health and safety policies and safe systems of work.
