Job Vacancy - Projects & Governance Officer

**Projects and Governance Officer (Full Time Hybrid working) - 37 hours per a week**

**Salary circa £33,422 pa (including the current pay award offer which has yet to be agreed)**

The Lower Severn Internal Drainage Board, a public sector body with statutory responsibility for the management of water levels and flood prevention, invites applicant for the post of Projects & Governance Officer & reporting to deputy to the Business Development Manager of the organisation.

The successful applicant will be expected to work a 37 hour week (additional hours may be required from time to time) at the Board’s offices near Thornbury and will be the most senior of the Board’s Managers. The facility to work from home for some of these hours will be available by agreement. They will be directly accountable to the CEO, and its Business Development Manager acting as the CEO’s principal Projects Officer and Governance advisor, responsible for the efficient Governance & Probate management of the organisation, ensuring its key strategic and policy objectives are in place and current to support the organisations strategic vison.

The person appointed will be a suitably experienced individual used to working in a statutorily regulated environment. Whilst no specific career background is sought it would be a distinct advantage to have experience of handling and advising formal meetings on policy, procedure and public sector business administration.
