We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Support Workers** to join our team here at **Amber House** based at our modern 13 bedroom Residential Home based in **Broughton, Scunthorpe** (DN20 postcode).

**Contract**: We can offer you either Days OR Nights - you choose.
**Shift patterns**: We can offer you excellent working patterns to suit your personal life.
A typical week will be week 1 working Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and then week 2 working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Day shifts are 7:45am to 19:45pm OR night shifts which are 19:45pm to 7:45am
**Hours**: We can offer you excellent working hours to suit you, such as 36 or 42 or 48 hours a week. Excellent shifts to work around your family life.
**Pay**: Starting rate of pay of £10.55 an hour for the first 12 weeks of your probation period. Then, depending on your experience, we reward our staff with a pay rise which is up to £11.10 an hour.
**PLUS** a £250 joining bonus paid to you which is paid to you when you pass your probation.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours of concern within a residential home environment.
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
